Leo Season 2021: A Time For Serious Play

On Thursday, July 22, 2021, the Sun completes it’s month-long journey through Cancer and enters the sign of Leo. What was initiated on the Summer Solstice is now about to be powerfully fixed in the sign of the Lion, as we make the seasonal shift from building our emotional foundations (Cancer archetype) to erecting towers of personal power by the process of creative self-expression (Leo archetype).

While moving through the watery sign Cancer, the Sun was putting us in touch with our emotions, calling us back to our roots, our traditions and our heritage. Having re-established ourselves within ourselves, we now are called to move outward and upwards, to embrace the proud and fiery spirit of Leo and take our seat on the throne of our own individuation process.
